Sika Egypt

      Is a 100% owned Swiss Company have been established in Egypt since 1985.  In 1990 Sika Egypt made the transition from a “trading” company to a local “production” company through the establishment of our facility in Borg El Arab (just outside of Alexandria).  The Borg El Arab plant manufactures Sika Waterbars (P.V.C), a full range of Sika powder products including grouts and repair mortars as well as a full range of protective coatings, curing compounds and release agents.

      In 2002 Sika Egypt commissioned a second production and administrative facility in El Obour (just outside of Cairo).  Our El Obour plant manufactures structural epoxy adhesives, Sikadur, epoxy flooring systems, Sikafloor, as well as our full range of concrete admixtures Plastiment and Sikament.

      As a result of Sika’s continued commitment in Egypt we have been able to meet the ever diverse needs of the local specialty chemical construction market.  Today Sika Egypt employs over 120 dedicated persons as well as services more than 20 key distributors through out the country all working towards supplying our customers with quality, price competitive products

     Sika is proud of her role in being able to participate in many of the major construction projects within Egypt. Our involvement includes admixtures for concrete production used in the Esna Barrage, repair and restoration of Ahemd Hamdy Tunnel, steel protection of the El Fardan Bridge and Sikafloor epoxy flooring, structural strengthening with Carbodur and many other applications.
